Bautismo
CIC 1213 ~ El santo Bautismo es el fundamento de toda la vida cristiana, el pórtico de la vida en el espíritu (“vitae spiritualis ianua”) y la puerta que abre el acceso a los otros sacramentos. Por el Bautismo somos liberados del pecado y regenerados como hijos de Dios, llegamos a ser miembros de Cristo y somos incorporados a la Iglesia y hechos partícipes de su misión.
Por el Bautismo, Dios nos da el DON, el regalo, de ser hijos de Él, dándonos su mismo Espíritu, para que habite en nosotros. A partir de ese momento Dios Padre, Dios Hijo y Dios Espíritu Santo, la Santísima Trinidad, habitarán en el bautizado. La Biblia nos dice: “El que crea y se bautice se salvará”. (Mc. 16, 16).

Baptism
Holy Baptism is the basis of all Christian life, the portico of the life in the spirit (“vitae spiritualis ianua”) and the door which opens access to the other sacraments. Through baptism we are freed from sin and regenerated as children of God, we get to be members of Christ and we are incorporated into the Church and made partakers of his mission.
By baptism, God gives us the Gift of being children, giving us his spirit that he may dwell in us. From that moment The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, most Holy Trinity, dwell in the baptized. The Bible tells us: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved”. (Mk. 16, 16)
